Good News Club

What is it. . .

A Good News Club is a high-powered, after-school Bible club for children between the ages of 5 and 12.  Each of the 4,000 clubs are sponsored by a local church who sends trained volunteers to run the one hour program, which includes a Bible lesson, songs, Scripture memory, a missions story, and review games.

What is the purpose. . .

As with all CEF ministries, the purpose of a Good News Club is to evanelize boys and girls with the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ and to establish them in the Word of God and in a local church for Christian living.

So your church wants to sponsor a school. . .

CEF is ready and eager to help churches enter the schools, fully equipped to share the Gospel and teach the Bible to school children, and extend the biblical influence to families. CEF takes care of the major logistics of getting a club started: contacting the school, providing liability insurance, and conducting background checks. In addition, CEF offers church partners a strategic plan, materials, support, and mentoring. Through a God-centered partnership between the local church and CEF, children's lives are changed and churches grow.
